Indo Fijian Dhall

1 1/2 cups red lentil Dhall
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoon oil olive
1/2 onion diced
2 clove diced
1 big green chilli diamond diced
Pinch of cumin seed
Pinch of mustard seed
2 tablespoon ghee
coriander for garnish
4 curry leaves (optional)
4 cups of water
Method
Step 1
Wash Dhall
Step 2
Add water and bring to boil
Step 3
Add salt
Step 4
When it starts to boil, scheme off the frost
Step 5
Add turmeric
Step 6
Add oil
Step 7
Let it boil for 15 to 2O mintues
Step 8
Blend it with hand mixture to thick texture
Step 9
Heat ghee in pan
Step 10
Add cumin and mustard seed
Step 11
Add onion garlic and chilli and curry leaves
Step 12
Fry to golden brown
Step 13
Add cooked and blended dhall
Step 14
Boil for few seconds
