11/2 cups chickpea flour
1/2 cup self raising flour
1 small potato grated
1 small carrot grated
1 onion diced
1 big green chilli finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 teaspoon minced ginger
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cumin seed
1 teaspoon corn flour
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 cup chopped spinach or cabbage
1/4 cup water
Method
Step 1
In a basin mix all dry ingredients
Step 2
Add garlic , ginger and chilli and sliced onion and mix
Step 3
Add grated carrots, potatoes and cabbage and mix
Step 4
Add little water a time and mix into a very soft texture not too runny.
Step 5
Heat oil and take small portions and deep fry to golden brown
Step 6
Place fried Pokora on paper towel to absorb oil .
